When we founded Tawreed in 2011, it was driven by a clear vision
and a growing opportunity. Fueled by a surge in infrastructure development and the ambitious
Vision 2030 agenda. With this growth came a pressing need for reliable local manufacturing,
faster delivery timelines, and the ability to meet stringent project requirements. Tawreed was
created to answer that call.
From the beginning, our objective was to build a strong local presence that could support our partners with the reliability and quality. We took our first major step by acquiring a 5,000 m² plot in Saudi Arabia, where we began transferring selected manufacturing capabilities from from other GGC regions. This included our Multiplast plastic conduits and Flowtech air terminals — products that have long stood for performance, durability, and trust.
As demand continued to grow, we expanded further. Recently, we acquired an additional 2,000 m² facility dedicated to our Promaster electrical switchgear panels. These units are now in full development and will become fully operational by the beginning of 2025. This milestone marks a significant step toward building a mature, fully capable manufacturing ecosystem within Saudi Arabia - one that will allow Tawreed to progressively strengthen its independence while enhancing service levels for our customers.
